CSR and Sponsorship

At MiddletonMurray we have always recognised the importance of ensuring that we, as a company, do all we can to support the communities in which we work and to play our part in raising much needed funds for local and national charities. In fact, since the start of 2014 our activities have generated some £60,000 for a variety of good causes and community-based activities.

The range and variety of charities and good causes that have been, and continue to be supported, is extensive and the inventiveness of our staff in regards to their variety of fundraising initiatives, never ceases to amaze us and include: running Marathons and Half Marathons, undertaking stair runs, holding cake sales, staging Easter Egg hunts, singing on charity videos, organising race nights, performing in a band, walking the Three Peaks, bike riding from London to Brighton and pouring buckets of cold water over their heads!

As for the charities supported these include: Help a Capital Child, Motor Neurone Disease, MacMillan Cancer Support, Children in Need, Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice, the Salvation Army, the Sidcup Community Garden project, The Charlton Upbeats Down’s Syndrome programme, Cancer Research, Shelter, Meningitis NOW, Text Santa and the British Heart Foundation.

In addition we have also supported via our sponsorship programme, the Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s (the UK’s largest football club operated charity) youth employment initiative ‘Give Youth a Chance’, Ebbsfleet United FC’s important work in Gravesham (an area of high youth unemployment) with their local community groups and charities and the London Borough of Bexley’s ‘Looked After Children’ awards programme.
